2020 Association Mission Team

The team will be traveling back to Huntersville, West Virginia this year. While there, they will be leading a construction team remodeling/updating parts of the Ambassadors for Christ camp, which is where they will be housed for the trip. We will also be active in visiting local shut ins to minister to them and visiting the Nursing home in Marlington, where we will minister to the residents individually and with gathering at the piano in the commons room to uplift their spirits and hearts with a song service and devotion.

They will also visit the Greenbriar Birthing Center, which is a federal prison for pregnant women within the prison system, as well as the Denmar Correction Center where the team will participate in a worship service for those inmates that choose to attend.
The week culminates with the Block Party in town for the entire community where a hot dog supper is provided and the Word is preached by one of our team members. Afterwards Book Bags with school supplies are given to the children and prizes are awarded to community members present.
Donations; monetary and otherwise can be delivered to the CBA office during business hours, or call to arrange another time. 843-756-0400
Donations requested are: School Supplies (Book Bags, paper, pens, etc), Door Prizes for the community (Toys, Bicycles, baby dolls, tvs, fans, sports equipment, etc.) Baby Supplies for the Birthing Center (Diapers, Wipes, clothes, baby wash, lotion, etc) These babies are not supported by the federal government. Each mother must provide for the necessities for her baby. The team is also working on lap quilts for the shut ins as well as nursing home residents so any donations are appreciated. The team itself will also be preparing their own meals each day and will utilize a small kitchen at the camp for cooking meals.
